A quaint tea room located in Sanford, the heart of North Carolina, and conveniently near to Raleigh, Cary, Pinehurst, Lillington, Siler City and Fayetteville. We offer lunch daily, Monday through Saturday. Enjoy a lovely, one hundred year old Victorian home, owned by Faye Schulz, which was transformed into a tea room in December, 1995.

The Chocolate Cellar was founded by Laura and Carol, a mother-daughter team focused on the art of crafting fine chocolates. As a student, Carol spent a summer abroad in France and brought home with her a vision. Central is the idea that the enjoyment of chocolate should be an experience involving all the senses. Fine chocolates are not made by adding certain ingredients together in the right proportions. It is art and it is passion. It is a belief in the love of chocolate and the pleasure it can bring to all.

Specializing in authentic Italian Pizza! At La Dolce Vita, we believe in simple, hand-crafted pizza that embodies true Italian taste.

La Dolce Vita Pizzeria opened December of 2001 at its’ original location in Sanford’s Old Town Hall when owner, Renee Fincher returned from a 10 year stint in Alaska. Fincher worked with the cruise lines several years before purchasing an existing pizzeria on the Juneau waterfront. The authentic Italian pizza dough and sauce are still made in house daily.
